We don’t notice a leader’s importance until they’re not there
Reference: The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ. (Galatians 3:16 NIV)
Explore: We can achieve so much when we all work together. But it takes a strong leader to coordinate all the parts.
I am all for teams working together but I’m also aware of the importance of a champion to lead the way. We put a lot of expectations on our leaders and often don’t notice their importance until they’re not there.
Application: God has mobilised many people to act on His behalf, and they’re all important. But none more important than His ultimate leader – Jesus.
No one gets to the Father but by ME. If I’m going to be a part of a team then I definitely want that Me involved!
Prayer: Jesus, thank You for being the ultimate leader. When we are on Your team we know we are heading in the right direction. Amen.
What part of working on a team do you struggle with?
