Tell Your Story
It’s great to hear other people’s perspective on God
Reference: Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, (Psalm 107:2 NIV)
Explore: One of my favourite times at church is watching the video testimony. Each week they tell the story of one of the members of our congregation and the impact the church has had on them.
It’s great to hear other people’s perspective on God and the different needs that everyone comes into church with. Some have come from dark places while others tell of a great journey of searching.
Every story speaks of a grace they have found in no other place. And each time I hear someone’s story I am inspired to connect even more with my loving, diverse God.
Application: In Psalm 107 it says all those who have experienced God’s grace should openly tell their story. As one worship song repeats, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!”
Many can learn from our experiences. We are all on a journey in our faith and any story of faith can help us have a greater understanding of God.
Let us help our brothers and sisters in their faith by sharing our own.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the experiences You have given to us. May our lives speak of Your love and grace. Amen.
