Taste Sensation
I had ordered it not knowing the taste sensation I was about to experience.

Explore: One of my neighbours, Kathy, is an incredible cook. She loves spending time in the kitchen and comes up with the most incredible dishes.
Often when we see each other we will talk about meals we have prepared or what food we have enjoyed.
The other day I went out for dinner and stumbled upon the most amazing gnocchi dish. I had ordered it not knowing the taste sensation I was about to experience.
The whole way through the meal all I could think about was, “I can’t wait to get home to see Kathy and tell her about this meal.” I knew Kathy would be the one who truly appreciated the delight my mouth was going through!
Application: God delights in the things we delight in too. He understands the beauty of a sunset, He appreciates the completion of a weighty task, and He delights in the success of a brilliant idea.
God delights in each one of us. He loves a good celebration and, whether we invite Him or not, He joins in our rejoicing.
God is there for us in our pain but let’s be mindful of God in our celebrations too.
Prayer: Lord, there are days when the only thing I feel I can celebrate is that the day is over! May I be thankful for the small things and the big and join with You in my celebrations. Amen.
