Never Give Up – Nick Vujicic

If anyone could be justified in giving up, it would have to be Nick Vujicic.

Life was a fight for Nick right from the beginning, but with supportive parents, a great faith and huge determination, Nick has come to not only change his life, but the lives of thousands of others. From his first speaking engagement at the age of 19, Nick now travels the world inspiring others to never give up.

All he has to do is stand in front of people for them to see his perseverance and that he did not give up.

Application: When life takes a horrid turn it’s hard to keep going. I’m sure there were times in Nick’s life when he thought about throwing in the towel.

While we may have all our arms and legs, life can give us great challenges too. The women who cared for Jesus throughout His ministry would have been devastated when they witnessed Jesus nailed to a cross.

But even then, as their friend and leader took his last breath, they did not give up. When His disciples had deserted Him, these women stayed true to their dedication to Christ.

When troubles come our way, the best thing we can do is to not give up and stay true to our dedication to Jesus. It’s not easy and we may falter, but let’s draw on the perseverance of people like Nick Vujicic and the women at the cross and believe that God will see us through.

Prayer: Lord, give me the strength to make it through my challenges. Help me to hold firmly to You and not give up. Amen.
