Majesty In The Mundane

I recently heard a great sermon by a friend and pastor, Richard Kobakian. He reminded me of how God is present in everyday things.
It’s great to have significant God moments where we seek clarity and get a strong sense of God’s leading.
However not every day is like that. There are some days when you have to do the washing, go to work, drop the kids off at their activities and head to the gym. But that doesn’t mean that God is not present.
God showed us, through Jesus, that He is present and available even in our everyday, mundane activities. He brings majesty in the mundane.
And that is what my blog strives to show. Even in my everyday, regular life I can see God. He is evident all throughout the day, it’s just a matter of stopping to notice Him.
What did you do today? Yes, think of even the mundane events that occurred. Now, as you think back, invite God into your conversation. Where was He present?
God doesn’t come and go from our lives. He is always present with us. It’s just a matter of whether you are looking for Him.
Lord, thank you for always being there for us. May we notice you in the big and small events in our lives. Amen.
What did you do today? Where was God present?
