Just Google It

If you’re feeling a little ill, type all your symptoms into your computer and it will deliver you a diagnosis.

Psalm 121:1-8

Reference: v.1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from? (TNIV Bible)

Explore: If you want to know anything in this day and age, you just have to Google it.  It seems the internet holds all forms of knowledge and typing a few words into a search engine will give you all the answers.

If you’re feeling a little ill, type all your symptoms into your computer and it will deliver you a diagnosis. If you need to find a location, type the address into your computer and it will give you the directions.

If you don’t know the meaning of a word or phrase, forget the paper dictionary, just type it into your computer and it will give you a plethora of definitions.

When all else fails… just Google it!

Application: With the internet being such a source of all knowledge it’s hard to think what life was like without it. Where does my help come from? … Google?

There are many sources in this world that can assist us in our journey. However, the only truly reliable assistance we can get, at all times, is from God.

God is not reliant on good broadband or wi-fi. He does not stop working during a blackout. God is never slow or holds contrary information.

Google is great, but God is the ultimate source of knowledge and assistance. We can ‘lift up our eyes’ to many helpful sources but when it comes to placing our lives in someone’s hands, there is no greater than God.

Prayer: Lord, you are by far the greatest source of help and knowledge combined. Thank you for being available to us every moment of every day. Amen.

Where do you go to for help?
