God’s Evangelism Technique

As Linda is on leave, here is one of her most read posts from over the past few months.

He constantly brings people into our lives to speak to us.

2 Kings 11:1-21

Reference: “Jehoiada then made a covenant between the Lord and the king and people that they would be the Lord’s people. He also made a covenant between the king and the people.” ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭11:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Explore: I love talking to people who didn’t grow up in a Christian family but find themselves exploring faith. It’s usually because of people who have come into their lives and shared their own faith.

I often chuckle at how many believers have come into one person’s life. It’s like God just keeps throwing Christians their way until they finally get it!

Application: God promises never to leave us and I’m amazed at how He constantly brings people into our lives to speak to us.

Reading through 1 and 2 Kings it is devastating how many of the kings turn away from God. And yet there is always hope.

No matter how evil the King there is always a representative of God present. A prophet or a servant or a period of good leadership.

It is a great reminder that God never leaves us without faith options. If you are feeling alone in your faith and struggling amidst all the challenges, look for your God person. God has not left you alone.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You surround us with good people to encourage and support us. May we look to You when all other help seems lost. Amen.

Who has come into your life and helped you with your faith?
