On Christmas morning our whole family dress up for our church service. We take out our Sunday best and put on any special new jewellery or clothing we have received for Christmas.
As we’re all staying together we jostle for the bathroom and ask each other for opinions on how we look.
In a way, it’s funny we dress up and make ourselves look so good and then go to church to celebrate a baby who was only wrapped in swaddling cloth!
The great thing about God is that He doesn’t actually care what we look like. He doesn’t care if we have diamonds on our fingers or dirt behind our ears, He just wants to meet with us.
Take some time in this Christmas season to spend time with our loving God.
