Cherries
Nothing says Summer time to me more than a bowl full of cherries. My father loved cherries, so in Summer time there was always a bowl of cherries in our kitchen.
It wasn’t just the taste of the cherries that was so good, but the excitement of finding two cherries joined together at the end of their stalk. As a young girl I would hook these cherries over my ears and pretend I had beautiful dangly earrings!
While cherries are a great reminder for me that it’s Summer, Christmas is a great reminder to us of God’s love. It’s true God loves us all the time, but Christmas is a great chance for us to remind ourselves of how great God’s love truly is for every single person. Make sure you celebrate His love this Christmas.
