I don’t know what it’s like anywhere else in the world in the lead up to Christmas, but in Australia it’s BUSY!!
Everything seems to need our attention at the end of the year:
The kids are on holidays, the work year finishes up, there’s parties and presents on every weekend, family catch ups, Summer holidays to plan and work to complete before the public holidays!
With so much occupying our minds and our time, it’s really easy to forget what the true meaning of Christmas is.
A small babe. A young couple. Some shepherds standing in awe. Some angels singing praise.
Life is busy and there’s lots to do. Don’t forget to stop and recall how our world was changed by a baby in a manger.
