In our native garden it is the purple which stands out the most.
Reference: When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. (Luke 21:30 NIV)
Explore: When Spring is coming the whole garden starts to change. There is fresh foliage, the trees have a growth spurt and the flowers come to life. The whites and pinks are beautiful, however, in our native garden it is the purple that stands out the most.
As soon as I drive into our home my whole spirit is lifted by the beauty of the garden and it’s clear to see that Spring is coming.
Application: The Bible often talks about changing times and different seasons. God asks us to be aware of the changes, not oblivious to what is going on around us.
There are times when change brings excitement, but other times when it brings pain and grief. In both situations God can speak to us.
We must, however, be open to noticing Him otherwise another season will pass us by.
Prayer: Lord, You care so much for us that You show us signs and communicate through the changes. May we be so in tune with You that we hear Your voice and answer Your call. Amen.
What is God saying to you?
