This is a question everyone should be able to answer

Explore: I have just been a part of a panel for some job interviews. It’s nice to be on the other side of the panel for once!
One of the questions we asked the interviewees was to think of a time when they encountered a problem in the past and how they rectified it. While people may not be able to think of something straight away, this is a question everyone should be able to answer because, let’s be honest, we all encounter issues.
Our problems may not be life-shattering but, after any given time in a work place, they will become evident.
To be honest, having a problem was not the main part of the question. The response we were interested in was how they rectified the issue.
Application: It is a given that we will encounter problems in our lives. Our faith in God does not determine the type of problem we will encounter; our faith determines our response.
Sin has been the downfall of humans for all generations. Let us not allow sin to enter into our lives but honestly admit our issues and continue to turn to God.
Prayer: Lord, it’s so easy to doubt You when troubles enter our lives. May we be strong in our faith when problems arise and strive to live out each issue with You by our side. Amen.
What problem has arisen for you lately?
