Motion Sensitive Camera

My husband bought a motion sensitive camera. We live on a reasonably large block and he was interested to know what was happening in our back yard when we weren’t there. So he set it up and set it going.

It doesn’t record all the time like a video camera, it just takes a photo whenever something moves in front of it. It doesn’t matter if it’s day or night, whenever there is movement, CLICK, it takes a photo.

If we want to actually see the pictures my husband has to take down the camera from its position, bring it up to the house, get the memory card out of the camera and put it in the computer. Then he can see what movement has taken place.

Some of the things we’ve discovered in our backyard, because of this camera are a wombat (yes, we live in Australia!), a wallaby and even a deer! I’ve added a photo of the deer as proof. Just look carefully in the middle of the photo and you’ll see the large body and the antlers.

You see, it’s not until Cam takes the time to bring the camera down and download the photos that he can see where the movement has happened.

This is often the case when we wonder where God has been moving in our lives. I can assure you, God has moved in your life. Often you just need to take the time to look back over your past to see where God has moved.

Now is the time to take out your God card and download where God has moved for you. Because when you do, it’s an amazing reminder of what God has done in the past. And it gives you hope as to what He can do in your life today.

Lord, thank You for moving in our lives in incredible ways. We may not always notice straight away, but as we reflect on our past may we see Your footprints all the way through. Amen.

How has God moved in your past?
