I was the only one who expressed my faith by attending church.

Explore: My day-to-day life seems fairly normal and mundane. However my non-church friends have always found my choices quite unusual.
To begin with, I always went to church on Sundays. Even as a teenager at boarding school, I was the only one who expressed my faith by attending church.
Then at university it was noted I had a single bed, therefore, didn’t choose to share it with anyone until I got married. I also spent money on attending beach missions and camps where we’d take time out of our holidays to share the gospel with children and families.
Now I’m married I have found the way we spend our money and build our family is still different from our neighbours and peers.
We don’t do this to stand out or get special treatment, but we do it as an expression of our faith.
Application: When you read the gospel you can’t help to have your life changed. No longer do the normal actions of the majority seem right, but we set ourselves apart for God’s glory.
People don’t always understand, and we may even seem weird to some, but we live in such a way that honours God and helps others to see what God is like.
Many people in our world are not reading the Bible, so we have an opportunity to show them what it says by our actions.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for setting Yourself aside so we may have life. Help us to set our lives apart to teach others about You. Amen.
How would people see that you follow Jesus?
