I started my involvement in ministry in my late teens through beach missions and teaching CRE. I worked on staff at Doncaster Church of Christ throughout my theological studies and became ordained in 2005. I specialized in children’s ministry, service coordination and missions – both to the local community as well as overseas in the Philippines. I became one of the first State Primary School chaplains in Victoria as I pioneered a relationship between the local school and church. For two years I planted a church in a green-field area of Melbourne.
I worked as the breakfast program producer for 89.9 LightFM, the Christian radio station in Melbourne, Australia for three years and now work for CBM, a not-for-profit organisation that assists people living in poverty with disability.
I have completed a Bachelor of Arts (psychology), a Bachelor of Theology and an Advanced Diploma in Ministry.
I’m married to Cameron and we have had three foster children. Our foster daughter, now in her twenties, still lives with us and we care for her young son.
Throughout my faith journey I have treasured the wisdom I have learned from the Bible. I love being able to apply the scripture to everyday life and appreciate that its wisdom helps me to have a greater understanding of who God is and who He calls all people to be.
Within this website you will be invited to join me as I explore what the Bible has to say about God, faith, life and leadership.Linda Bailey
